Myotherapy ('muscle-therapy') is essentially remedial massage with a larger toolkit and whilst still treating symptoms- is more geared towards identifying the cause and finding resolution. Myotherapists are highly trained and must be registered with a nationally recognised association such as Myotherapy Association Australia to practice within Australia. Well-known and sought after within professional sport it is also a modality well suited to anyone suffering long-term pain. As an evidence-based therapy, treatment may be similar to what you have experienced with a physiotherapist or osteopath.

Sessions include thorough physical assessment followed by bodywork to treat pain, mobility and musculoskeletal issues. Techniques used at Vitality Lab include remedial massage, dry needling, cupping, active release, joint mobilisation, kinesio-taping, JEMS movement systems & exercise prescription for prevention, rehabilitation and improved performance. Our approach is to actively involve you in your treatment, share knowledge and inspire you to create a great relationship with your body.

Generally three or four sessions are recommended to get most out of your treatment. Package options are available and Private Health rebates are available with applicable cover.
